Alpine Wildlife Control is owned and operated by Ted and Irene Schmid. Ted manages the fieldwork, and Irene helps in the office as much as she can.
Ted has had a fascination with wildlife and the outdoors since childhood. The passion continues today through his career as a nuisance wildlife specialist and nuisance wildlife control operator. He has
over 20 years of field experience as a nuisance wildlife operator and has dealt with various wildlife problems and issues throughout Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas. We purchased the company from the previous owners in July of 2018. We are passionate about continuing the excellent reputation and services our customers have come to know and expect from us since the company was founded in 1969.
Qualifications & Experience
Trained in bird and basic bat control, shooting in sensitive environments, and various trapping methods/techniques
Licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator/Qualified Supervisor for outdoor rodents, Colorado Department of Agriculture
Other memberships: National Rifle Association, National Wildlife Control Operators Association (NWCOA)
